Transparent device that evolves certain Pokemon species. Silph Co. produced it.
The item upgrader adds an additional widget at the top of both the Angel and Cash Upgrade Windows. The Manager is priced at 33 billion Angel Investors, and has no gameplay benefit other than making it easier to purchase upgrades.
Boosters
There are many boosts you can get with an upgrader. These could include stats, as well as bonus bonuses. item upgrading can be used on weapons, armor and trinkets. They can be used to improve the capabilities of the character, or can be used to add an element of variety to the build.
The World of Warcraft upgrade system allows players to upgrade their equipment by paying currency at an upgrader for items. This system was introduced in Mists of Pandaria and was expanded with the introduction of Warlords of Draenor. It's a simple method to increase the quality of your equipment, which lets you to skip the grind and avoid a bunch wipes in Mythic+ Dungeons.
When an item is upgraded its base type changes. The upgrade of a normal item creates an Exceptional item while upgrading an item that is Exceptional will result in an elite version of the same base item. The item will retain all of its pre-upgrade statistics however, it will also receive an additional bonus due to its new base type. The bonus will be randomly selected from the following options: a chance to obtain weapons with a higher damage range or an increased reload speed or a chance to gain a higher max defense roll.
The number of upgrades you do will determine the amount of extras you receive. Each upgrade will increase the number of extras by three points maximum. In addition, each upgrade will also boost the stat that is used to determine the main one by one.
In addition to the stat increases, some upgrades will also provide a random boost. These boosts are valuable and should be considered when deciding what items to upgrade. Some of these boosts are suitable for specific builds (such Whistan's shield, for FB sorcs) while others can bring a great deal of value to certain collectors.
Some items have an inherent boos that are less useful when upgraded, such as the Goldwrap which provides more slots for potion. These are usually upgraded to add value to a perfect or near-perfect item.
Costs
There are a few expenses related to upgrades of items. The first is the cost of performing the upgrade. The cost for this upgrade can be costly and is dependent on the new level of the item as well as the number of perks it receives. Upgrades to a higher level (such as Explorer to Champion or Veteran to Heroic) can be expensive.
The second is the cost of items needed to upgrade. These items are typically Power Dices (dropped from monsters 21+), Minerals and Erons or a specific Mists of Pandaria or Warlords Of Draenor Quests. These materials are available in the inventory of an Upgrade Vendor.
Upgrading an item is a complex process that takes time. It can take 8 hours, depending on the size of the upgrade. The base stats of the upgraded item are calculated based upon its new ilvl and other properties. This calculation determines new Armor Class bonuses, damage dice, and other vital statistics. In certain cases, the upgrade will grant additional advantages that can be picked from a list of available advantages.
Rarely, the benefits gained will cost more than one perk slot to acquire In these cases, the upgrade will only replace the highest-cost perks. The upgrader can also make other adjustments to the item, for example, changing the type of damage it deals to its weapon, or adding or eliminating an operational or unwieldy feature. These modifications are based on an item's ilvl and may require special materials, like adamantine.

Success Rate
Upgrades to items are based on the chance of success, and as with any random system, there is an opportunity that the upgrade will fail. However, there are a few things which can improve the chances of success. These include the use of an item dubbed an Upgrade Pity, or the addition of additional components to the upgrade.
The Upgrade Pity can be bought from the NPC for crafting in Lost Ark. It increases the chances of the upgrade being successful by some percentage. It is similar to the luck bonus that some items come with but is more stable. It can be added to any weapon or armor and can be used up to three times.
It is also possible to add a number of additional elements to the upgrade, increasing its chance of success. These materials are displayed in a separate window above the + button. There are however limitations to this, and the largest amount of material that can be added is shown directly above the + button in the user interface.
Another way to increase the chances of an upgrade succeeding is by using the item known as Blacksmith Blessing or an upgraded version of it. This item is beneficial when you own an item of gear that has reached the maximum level for its tier, or is close to it. It will let you upgrade the equipment to the next level without having to worry about breaking.
If an upgrade fails it will be restored to its original state. This is usually a downgrade, but could also be an upgrade. Keep an upgrade in reserve until you're close to the maximum level of an item.
Kafra has a number of items that can be utilized to increase the chances of a successful upgrade. For example upgrading an item of equipment with HD Oridecon or HD Elunium multiple times will provide you with more chance of success. The rate of success will be enhanced if you boost the chance of getting a Double Mint by Shoe-Minting five times.
Failure Rate
The upgrader of an item allows players to add an additional slot on their equipment. These slots can be used to upgrade an item or apply an enchantment. It is important to note that not all items are upgradeable. The rank of an item will determine the rate at which it can be upgraded and transformed. The higher the rank of an item, the more Zeny and items are required to upgrade it.
This system is costly, especially if you are seeking top-of-the-line equipment. It can cost upwards of 100,000 Z and 100 Carnium to upgrade an armor or weapon. The chance of success also decreases as you go up in rank. However, you can make use of cash shop items to increase your chances of upgrading your item effectively.
Normal Upgrade is the most basic upgrade that can be done on weapons, armor pieces and bikes. It uses different grades of core dependent on the kind of item. Most commonly, lower grade items will require low grade cores while items with higher quality will require higher priced ones.
To carry out an ordinary upgrade you must first have the proper number of cores. Once you have them then click the button next to the item that you want to upgrade. The upgrade window will then show a percentage indication of your chance of success. The percentage is based on the upgrade level and nature of the product you have selected.
You can also choose a safeguard that will protect your item in the event of failure. The cost of this protection will vary but will always be less than the cost of purchasing a new item. The protection is only available once per upgrade, and it is not a valid expiry date unless it is used again.
The UI for the item upgrader could be difficult to navigate, but it's not impossible to navigate. The main menu is displayed on the left side and the upgrade window appears on the right. The arrows to the left of the UI depict the various stages of the upgrade process. Click the question mark icon to seek help if you are unsure what you're doing. The upgrade can take up five minutes.
